The NMJC Foundation awards scholarships to help students pay for tuition, housing, books, fees, workforce training, and more.
How It Works
Step 1 — Apply to NMJC
Submit your NMJC application and activate your student account.
Step 2 — Complete the Scholarship Application
One NMJC Foundation scholarship application allows a scholarhsip opportunity from many available scholarship funds, per academic year.
Step 3 — Upload Your Latest Transcript
High school, GED, or college transcripts are required.
Step 4 — We Match You to Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded based on criteria like GPA, program of study, leadership, financial need, and community involvement.
Step 5 — Start Your Future
Scholarships can help cover tuition and fees, housing, books, workforce training, and more.

About the NMJC Foundation
Mission
The New Mexico Junior College Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to foster, encourage, and promote college education (academic, technical, and career technology) at New Mexico Junior College by giving qualified persons the opportunity to obtain advanced education by means of financial assistance and scholarships; by soliciting funds for educational, philanthropic, and benevolent purposes to be used to encourage and promote New Mexico Junior College and activities related to the College; and by encouraging the expansion of facilities at the College through grants and endowments.
