Engagement Summit at New Mexico Junior College drives the Faculty Development

New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) Dean of Applied Sciences and Learning Technology, Stephanie Ferguson, and Dean of Arts, Sciences, and Learning Support, Dianne Marquez hosted an impactful Engagement Summit on April 5, 2024. The summit gathered educators, and administrators in a collaborative effort to motivate the institution's commitment to academic excellence. 

The Engagement Summit served as a platform for discussing innovative strategies and initiatives aimed at elevating the quality of education and student outcomes. The event held discussions, and interactive presentations all geared toward creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Ferguson emphasized that the Engagement Summit was related to our faculty professional development plans and the Quality Initiative Project for the Higher Learning Commission.
