PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATOR MINIMUM STANDARDS OF TRAINING: 

The Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST) Academy is a minimum of 130 hours of training within a three week period.  An amount of 12 prerequisite distance learning training hours will be required from the applicant prior to their attendance at the academy.
