The Hobbs High School Class of 1975 established this scholarship fund with a shared vision: to give back to the community that helped shape their futures. This fund is dedicated to supporting the educational dreams of students at New Mexico Junior College, providing them with the financial assistance they need to pursue their academic and career goals.

By contributing to this scholarship, you are investing in the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and community-minded individuals. Your donation will directly assist deserving students who demonstrate a commitment to their education, community, and future success.

Donate now and be part of something that lasts — a legacy of education, opportunity, and community support.

Since receiving the news of the passing of our beloved past president, Dr. Steve McCleery, many community members have reached out asking how they can honor his memory and show support. In recognition of Dr. McCleery’s dedication to New Mexico Junior College throughout his career, we have established the Dr. Steve McCleery Memorial Fund.

For any questions or further information, please don’t hesitate to call 575-492-2778.

Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated as we remember and celebrate Dr. McCleery’s lasting impact.

The Band Club represents the NMJC and Community Band at campus functions such as Discovery Day and Orientation. Donations help to buy and maintain essential band needs like instruments, music, and, of course, food. We firmly believe in feeding the musicians!
