Scholarships and grants can significantly reduce the cost of attending college and generally do not need to be repaid. New Mexico Junior College connects students with institutional, foundation, departmental, athletic, and external scholarship opportunities to help make college more affordable.
Pay for College with Scholarships & Grants
The NMJC Office of Financial Aid helps students connect with scholarship and grant
opportunities from a variety of sources, including NMJC departments, the NMJC Foundation,
community organizations, professional associations, and private donors.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, financial need, field of study, athletic participation, community involvement, and other eligibility criteria established by sponsoring organizations.
Students are encouraged to apply early and often, as scholarship opportunities become available throughout the year.
