New Mexico Junior College welcomed students back to campus on August 17 and 18 as the Fall 2026 semester officially got underway. Students returned to classrooms, campus activities, and the many opportunities NMJC offers to help them achieve their educational and career goals.

“We are all happy to see our campus come alive again as students return for the fall semester,” said Interim President, Cathy Mitchell. “Each new semester brings fresh possibilities, and we are proud to provide an environment where our students can learn, connect and prepare for their futures.”

Students who have not yet registered still have an opportunity to enroll for the Fall 2026 semester. Registration remains open through Friday, August 21.
