H2S Clear for Energy
Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), commonly known as sour gas, is an extremely hazardous substance
that can incapacitate or become fatal within seconds. H2S Clear is a comprehensive,
instructor-led safety training program designed to prepare workers to safely operate
in H2S environments, meet regulatory requirements, and reduce workplace risk through
standardized, industry-recognized training.
H2S Clear is a 8-hour instructor-led course focused on H2S hazard awareness, response, and worker safety. Training covers hazard recognition, exposure response, gas detection and monitoring, protective equipment, rescue procedures, and post-exposure protocols. Curriculum is aligned with ANSI/ASSE Z390.1 (2024) standards and incorporates OSHA, API, BSEE, EPA, and Railroad Commission of Texas requirements.
Interactive instruction and proctored testing help improve knowledge retention and
verify worker competency.
Mobile verification technology allows employers to quickly confirm worker training
completion and site compliance.
Training records and certifications are securely stored within the Veriforce system,
with both digital and physical credentials available.
H2S Clear is supported by a nationwide network of more than 2,500 instructors delivering
trusted safety training across the United States.
