NMJC Schedules Demo of Energy Tech Interactive Learning Technology Sept. 25, 26
9/25/2013 11:25:11 a.m. - Hobbs, NM. HOBBS, NM – Local media are invited to a demonstration of and update on interactive learning technology for New Mexico Junior College’s Energy Technology program on Wednesday, September 25, and Thursday, September 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. both days, in the NMJC Booster Club and adjoining classroom.
The technology has already been incorporated into our curriculum and students are responding well to this courseware. NMJC has also developed several virtual training tools that will provide students and industry a virtual “hands on” experience in both the nuclear and oil and gas industries.
The courseware is a result of NMJC’s partnership with Lockheed Martin to integrate interactive learning technology into the program curriculum, so as to advance the college’s effort to train more skilled technicians for the nuclear energy industry.
For more information, contact Dr. Robert Rhodes, vice president of Training and Outreach, 575-492-4708, firstname.lastname@example.org. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Michael Platt, a Human Performance Engineer with Lockheed Martin Global Training and Logistics, will be leading the demonstration.
