NMJC Ford ASSET Program Receives Kudos
4/30/2011 2:56:38 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. A recent Ford ASSET Operational Review by Mike Gusta, Ford Motor Company Field Service Engineer, and Troy Kimmerle, Technical Support Operations Manager, proved to be extremely positive, with no findings or concerns. The Review included program standards, staffing, curriculum, instructor credentials, recruitment, co-op procedures, advisory committees, and records.
Kimmerle was very complimentary of NMJC and the Ford ASSET program, speaking highly of Tim Roberts' and John Goebel's automotive instruction, along with Pat Stutzman's recruiting efforts.
Gusta and Kimmerle informed NMJC that the college would receive $1000 to further recruiting efforts. They also announced NMJC is on a priority list, meaning that it is one of two schools selected nationally to receive new training equipment as it becomes available.
