NMJC Offers Second Summer Session of Kids College

NMJC Offers Second Summer Session of Kids College photo 7/1/2010 12:28:13 a.m. - Hobbs, NM. The Continuing Education Department at New Mexico Junior College will be offering a second session of Youth College on July 12-16.

According to Selma Granado, Program Planner for Continuing Ed, there are still openings available for first through eighth grade students in a number of classes, which are designed to offer fun or personal enhancement. Fees are $19 per class, with some classes requiring an additional supply fee.

Classes offered include Beginning Digital Scrapbooking, Cooking, Entrepreneurship: Beyond the Lemonade Stand, Etiquette & Social Protocol, Reading, Earth Science, Math, Microsoft Applications, Studying & Test Taking, Alcohol & Drug Awareness, Zumba, Spanish, Cheerleading Camp, Space Exploration, Social Studies, and Safety for Kids.
