Free Concert to be Presented at NMJC

 Professor Anne Turner Tsonis and the Ultra-Tsonic Singers, along with Sara Inman and the Northside Baptist Church’s “Expression” Dance Academy invite you to attend a free concert on Sunday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. at NMJC’s Watson Hall Theater.

Twenty-five vocal, dance, and instrumental performers will participate in toe-tapping favorites from “Worship Through Dance” special songs to 40’s  Swing Jazz, Calypso, Bossa Nova, Disco, Pop, Rock & Roll, Country, Opera, and Broadway hits. Featured instrumentalists/vocalists include Brandi Campbell, Ross Strickland, Jonathan Carey, and Daniella Mendez. Vocal soloists include: Heather Burnell, Chris Cauthen, Randy Duncan, Mark Jimenez, Cardell McClam, Emily McCulloch, Elizabeth Pratt, and Scott Romine.

This college singing class of beginners, intermediates and advanced is open to both students and community singers and may be taken multiple times for credit or audit. They have performed for NMJC’s Constitution Day and Community Band; at University of the Southwest’s Library Atrium and Pacific Rim restaurant, and for Lea County Commission of the Arts, Southwest Symphony, and Lea County Humane Society Fundraisers.
