During NMJC's annual campus-wide food drive, students, staff, and faculty collected 3,115 cans of food. Twenty-five hundred cans were delivered to local entities during the Thanksgiving holiday, and 1,100 were saved for the Hobbs annual Stuff-A-Truck event.

Students from Campus Ambassadors, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Women's Basketball, Men's Baseball and Phi Beta Lambda, including sponsors Robert Guthrie, Jeff McCool, and Randy Johns, delivered the cans of food reserved for the Stuff-A-Truck food drive Thursday afternoon, boosting the drive's first day totals.
