NMJC Law Enforcement Academy Graduation & 10-Year Reunion
11/20/2006 12:33:11 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. New Mexico Junior College's Southeastern New Mexico Law Enforcement Training Academy will graduate its 18th class in conjunction with celebrating their 10-year reunion on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, 4:30 p.m., at Tydings Auditorium.
The 24 cadets of the 18th SNMLETA have completed over 800 hours of classroom and practical training. Upon graduation, cadets will receive their New Mexico Law Enforcement Officer Certification, which certifies them as police officers for the state of New Mexico.
Accompanying the cadet graduation, the SNMLETA will hold a 10-year reunion celebration. In the past ten years of the SNMELTA, approximately 250 cadets have passed through the academy, thereby strengthening New Mexico's law enforcement agencies. Past graduates and legislators will help honor outstanding staff from the academy and distinguished officers that have hailed from the SNMLETA.
