NM Attorney General to Speak at NMJC's Constitution Day Event photo 9/7/2007 3:21:38 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. On Sept. 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by thirty-nine brave men, who changed the course of history. Established as a federal holiday in 2004, Constitution Day is now an opportunity to educate new generations of Americans on how the Constitution changed history.

New Mexico Junior College will hold a Constitution Day commemoration ceremony on Friday, September 14, 2007, at 1 pm in the Daniels Conference Room of the Ben Alexander Student Learning Center on the NMJC Campus. New Mexico Attorney General Gary King will be the keynote speaker for the event, with the NMJC Sensations presenting a musical patriotic tribute. A reception will immediately follow the commemoration ceremony.

NMJC's Constitution Day commemoration is open to the public and free of charge.
