All Night on theTitanic for Teens

10/24/2016 5:46:40 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. The Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame is having an all-night party for 13-15 year olds. The event called A Night on Titanic is Saturday, October 29th from 7:00pm to 7:00am at the museum. The cost of $30 includes a t-shirt, pizza and breakfast, goody bag and prizes.

When the museum closes to the public at 7pm, the teens will start their fun with a scavenger hunt throughout the Titanic exhibit for prizes. Pizza will be served while watching James Cameron's movie "Titanic". There will be more activities and more prizes during the night, plus breakfast in the morning before everyone leaves at 7:00am.

"We wanted something for the young teen, ages 13-15, who may not be able to go to parties on their own," says museum Curator Erin Anderson. "We will have four adults to supervise. Our goal is to make this fun and exclusive... something to brag about since no one else can spend the night at Titanic."

Another fun event for the evening is learning the exact timeline that Titanic events happened, i.e. at 11:40pm the ship hits the iceberg, everyone has to touch the iceberg; 12:20am - the lifeboats are loaded, etc. All activities are geared for teens.
