NMJC Student Photo Competition
4/19/2007 2:56:45 p.m. - Hobbs, NM. New Mexico Junior College digital photography students will have over 30 pieces of artwork displayed in the Western Heritage Museum from Monday, April 23, to Friday, April 27, in an art show/photo competition.
NMJC digital photography instructors Brian Henning and Jack McCaw wanted to create an occasion that would inspire their students to use their creative talents along with what they've learned from class.
Entries will be judged on artistic merit, technical skill, and public appeal. Awards will be given on Friday, April 27, 6 - 7 pm, at the Museum. The public is invited to view the entry pieces throughout the week, as well as attend the award show on Friday.
Admission to the Museum is adults, $3; seniors 65+ and ages 6 - 18, $2; and five and under, free. For more information, call 575.392.6730.
