Academic Planning
The NMJC counselors can assist students in selecting courses needed for their particular degree plan. The Counseling Office houses college catalogues, admission applications and transfer guides for many regional 4-year institutions. Counselors are on hand to ensure all students are taking courses with transferability potential. If you intend to transfer to a 4-year college or university upon completion of your associate degree from NMJC, visit with a counselor today!
Degree Plans
You may view NMJC degree plans by going to the majors listed under Academic Programs. For assistance with degree plans for other colleges and universities, please visit with an NMJC counselor.
Transfer Equivalencies
If you would like to see course-by-course equivalencies between NMJC and six universities (University of the Southwest, Eastern New Mexico University, New Mexico State University, Texas Tech University, the University of New Mexico, and West Texas A&M University), you may view the transfer matrix (PDF Format). However, please keep in mind that many courses transfer, but the key issue is whether a transferable course will apply to a particular degree.
