Transcript Request
Official Transcript Requests
There is $2.00 fee for transcripts. Transcripts cannot be released to the student if the student has an outstanding balance or any other type of hold. All financial arrangements are handled in the Business Office. Other exclusions include:
- E-mail and telephone requests cannot be honored.
- Another person may not request a student’s transcript without specific written authorization from that student.
- New Mexico Junior College will not provide copies of test scores or transcripts of academic work from other institutions. You must contact the original institution for that information.
You may use any of the following ways to request a transcript from NMJC:
- In-person request.
- Written request faxed or mailed to the Registrar's Office.
- Request submitted through T-BirdWeb Portal.
1. You may come to the Records and Registration Office in person to request and/or pick up your transcript. Photo identification is required when ordering and picking up transcripts in person.
2. You may also fill out the Transcript Request Form (PDF File), and then fax or mail it to:

If not filling out the Transcript Request Form, your correspondence should include the following:
- Written Signature
- Date of request
- Current/previous name(s)
- Social Security Number or NMJC Identification Number
- Date of birth
- Dates of attendance
- Current address
- Daytime telephone number
- Address to which the transcript is to be sent
3. You can request a transcript using the T-BirdWeb Portal to access your records. You will need your student identification number (A number) and PIN to access T-BirdWeb Portal. Once you have access to your account, go to Student Records and click on "Academic Transcript," complete the required information, and submit.
Payments by check or money order are to be made payable to New Mexico Junior College. Be sure to write your NMJC ID on all payments. Do not send cash. You may also call the Cashier at 575.492.2772 and pay using a credit card.
Only MasterCard and Visa credit cards are accepted. If using a credit card, the following information must be included:
- Complete card number
- Expiration date
- Cardholder name
Requesting Transcripts from Other Schools
The formal application for admission to New Mexico Junior College requires an official transcript be sent directly from your former institutions to NMJC--this includes your high school transcript.
You may fill out the transcript request form. Transcripts should be mailed directly to New Mexico Junior College Admissions & Records at the following address:
