ELIN – New information resources continue to be made available through the development of the Estacado Library Information Network which links NMJC's Pannell Library with other libraries in Lea County. Through ELIN, students have access to databases composed of hundreds of thousands of articles on any subject imaginable, many in full text. Your valid student ID will allow you to become registered in the library system. Registration enables you to use library resources at any of the other ELIN member libraries in our area: Hobbs Public Library, Lovington Public Library, Tatum Library, College of the Southwest, Carlsbad Public Library, Eunice Public Library and Woolworth Community Library in Jal. Desktop applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access are available at Pannell Library by going to the ELIN page and clicking on the link for New Mexico Junior College.

Financial Aid at NMJC – This link takes you directly to the NMJC financial aid webpage where you will find a link to fill out the FAFSA online, or take the Entrance Counseling Quiz you've been told to take before you receive your money.

Internal Revenue Service / Department of the Treasury Forms and Publications – A very informative site on how and where to file your federal taxes. Links to Forms and Instructions so that you can print any needed forms for tax filing purposes. Also includes links to Publications and Notices sent out by the IRS, Prior Years Forms and Publications, Extensions of Time to File, Forms by Mail, online Fill in Forms (a service of the IRS where you can fill in your forms on your computer before you print them), Links to State Tax Forms, and information about E-Filing just to mention a few. Downloadable forms, instructions, and fill-in forms require Adobe Acrobat since all are in pdf format.

Legal Research Sites – This link takes you to a collection of legal research web sites.

Magazines & Journals – Magazines, journals and newspapers are available for use in Pannell Library and are found in several different locations.

netLibrary – After registering, patrons can access e-books online at no charge.

Search Engines – These are sites which allow a user to search through a vast amount of topics for a specific site. An appearance on this list does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by the library for the search tool described.

State of New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department – This state website offers many useful links such as Electronic Services for filing your New Mexico Tax Return online through PIT-NET and CRS-NET, and Renewal of your Car Registration using The Rapid Renewal System.Has links to Divisions of the Departments websites. Multiple Forms that are used by businesses and individuals alike for download. Public Events in New Mexico such as Public Meetings, Auctions, and Workshops. With many other links to information such as Publications, Phone Lists, Press releases, Employment Opportunities, Assessment FAQ's, and Bills for 2002.
