Welcome to the Paralegal Program at NMJC
The Paralegal Studies Program prepares students for work in the legal profession. Students will learn a variety of different areas of law. They will begin with the introductory courses and move on to more substantive areas of the law. The flexibility of this degree allows students the opportunities to not only receive education in required areas of law, but to also receive education in the areas of law that are of their interest. This program also allows the student to complete the program in a traditional college environment, or they may also complete this program in a non-traditional environment as well, which includes night and online programs. Upon completion of the paralegal program, the student will be prepared to take the national legal assistant certification exams.
