Costs for this program are as outlined below. This fee covers full-time tuition, all texts, partial supplies and equipment (ammunition, firearms, traffic templates, graduation awards, etc.).

In the past, SNMLEA has been fortunate to be granted a legislative appropriation to help subsidize
housing and meals for out-of-district and out-of-state cadets who need to live on campus
while attending the academy. This amount changes from year to year according to the funds
received for the academy.

NOTE: This program is currently approved for the Federal financial aid including Veterans benefits, For

Cadets will be individually responsible for payment of their medical and psychological examination unless
they are sponsored by a law enforcement agency.

Cadets will also be responsible for uniforms, gym gear, footwear, pens, pencils, notebooks, etc. Each
cadet will be provided with a comprehensive list of required equipment upon final acceptance into the
academy.
