Law Enforcement Academy Application Process

The following steps must be followed in order to register and apply for admission to the Southeastern New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy (SNMLEA):

• Download, print, and complete the Law Enforcement Training Academy Application Package:
• Required NMLEA Forms
• Prospective students should complete the New Mexico Junior College Online Admission Application

If you will be attending the academy self-sponsored, you will not need to complete the following forms:

• LEA 2-Employment verification
• LEA 5-Fingerprint Affidavit ( you will need to be fingerprinted and send those to: We will send in the LEA 5 form)
