Corrections Academy Application Process
The following steps must be followed in order to apply for admission to the Southeastern New Mexico Corrections Training Academy:
- Submit a request to Naomi Phillips, Assistant Director, at nphillips@nmjc.edu or 505.492.2717 with your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. We will then send you a Corrections Training Academy Information Packet.
- Return the completed packet with the required notarized forms to:
New Mexico Junior College - SNMCTA
c/o Kelly Amador
#1 Thunderbird Circle
Hobbs, NM, 88240.
- If being sponsored by a Corrections Agency, arrangements must be made through that agency to complete the testingprocess which include medical, psychological, and drug screening. These and several other tests must be completedprior to your entry into the academy.
