Summer Hours for NMJC Library Announced
5/12/2008 4:50:39 PM - Hobbs, NM.New Mexico Junior College's Pannell Library has announced its summer hours.
Starting May 8 and ending August 17, the library will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. From May 8 - 25, hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During Summer Sessions I and II, hours will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. From August 1-17, hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The library will also be closed Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day and Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

NMJC Campus Closed for Holiday Weekend
5/12/2008 4:50:04 PM - Hobbs, NM.New Mexico Junior College, along with the Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame, will be closed in observance of Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26, 2008.

NMJC SSS Program Hosts Recognition Luncheon
5/12/2008 - Hobbs, NM. Student Support Services, a part of the federally funded TRiO program at New Mexico Junior College, hosted a luncheon on Thursday, May 8, to honor and recognize graduates and transferees from the program along with those individuals who have made a difference in their lives during their time at NMJC.
NMJC Golfers Voted to All-Region Team
5/7/2008 - Hobbs, NM. Two Thunderbird golfers have just moved up in the ranks! Sophomore Bryan Hackenberg of Thornton, Colorado, and freshman James Curry of Northumberton, England, were recently voted to the PING All-Region Team for Region V.
Members of the PING All-Region team are eligible for PING All-America honors. Region teams are selected by Golf Coaches Association of America regional advisory committees, based on their season-long play.
