GED Test Information

Information you need to know about your GED Tests:

  • After you take the GED Tests, they are sent to Oklahoma to be scored.
  • It will take approximately 1 to 3 weeks to get the results back. (Please do not call me the day after testing asking for your scores)
  • If you pass all of your tests, (made at least a 410 or greater on each test and an average of at least a 2250), Oklahoma Scoring will send your scores to Santa Fe NM. The State Of New Mexico will send your diploma. Put it in a safe place because you only get 1 diploma.
  • If you did not pass one or more of your tests, you must wait 61 days before retaking a test. The retake will cost $8.00 per test and you only have to take the tests that you made below 410 on.
  • If you passed all of your tests with a 410 or above, but your average is below 2250, you need to raise your average. You must wait 31 days to retake the test(s) that you feel most comfortable with and you feel that you can raise your average the required number of points. The retake will cost $8.00 per test.
