Margaret Wilson

Margeret Wilson has been at NMJC for nearly 22 years, and has been in the education field for 28. Before coming to NMJC, she taught at Lovington High School. Wilson graduated college with a double major in Business Administration and Office Technology, because at the time she didn’t know if she would really like teaching so,’“I had a backup plan,” says Wilson.

Fortunately, she found out that she loves the teaching profession and, “I couldn’t imagine having done anything else with my life.”

Wilson says that there are many special moments here, but she gets a very special feeling when she watches a student that she had become gainfully employed.

Her plans for the next several years after retirement include several things. “I’m going to be babysitting my new grandson in Lago Vista, Texas. After that, my husband and I plan to get into a motor home and just travel and play lots of golf.”

“I am really going to miss the students, faculty and staff at NMJC; this place has been my home away from home for almost 22 years.”
