The presentation of the Meritorious Service Award 200 has passed, but the dedicated worker wasn’t recognized for her award in print.

For those of you who don’t remember the winner Beth Hancock, she is the Executive Secretary for the Vice President of Finance. The award was decided from a voting process by her peers who perceive that she fulfills her job duties marvelously, and even goes beyond the scope of her job description.

“I was very happy, humbled, and touched to find out I won this award. Winning this award also rededicated me to my profession,” said Hancock.

She says that she is very happy with the job she has at NMJC. She even went so far to say that she couldn’t think of another time during her working life that she has been as happy as when she got the award.

In closing, Hancock said, “There are many people that work here who deserve this award, because they work hard and are very good at what they do and continue to do a good job day after day.”
