COACH'S COMMENTS:
After a long road trip and the first meet of a long season I was pleased with the way these young ladies performed. The ladies learned a lot today! Some learned about pacing, others about competing in the middle of the race while others learned about finishing strong. They all learned something a little different about themselves, the sport, their teammates, or area competitors; they hopefully learned and realized that they all have the opportunity and potential to improve greatly as the season progresses.

The chemistry among these young ladies right now is great! Each one of them is willing and excited about taking the challenge of hard training. They all understand what it’s going to take to reach their fullest potential this season. They all are very responsive to every thing I tell them with the exception of drinking enough water. It’s very exciting to have a group of runners who believe in what they are doing and are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to improve.
