The Weatherford College Rodeo

March 25-27 — Odessa, TX. NMJC's Women's Team member Cigi Allen (Lovington, NM) placed third in the long-go-round in breakaway calf roping with a time of 2.8 sec.'s. She was 3.8 sec.'s in the short go and finished 5th in the average. In goat tying Cigi was 8.4 sec.'s in the long-go-round placing 6th and was 8.9 sec.'s in the short round placing 5th in the average.

NMJC's Men's Team member Jake Nave (Monument, NM) placed ninth in the long-go-round in calf roping with a time of 11.0 sec.'s. He broke the barrier in the short round and didn't place either in the short round and/or average.

NMJC's Rodeo Coach and Team will be traveling to Snyder, TX for the Western Texas College Rodeo starting Thursday, April 1, 2004 thru Saturday, April 3, 2004.
