3 out of 5
March
11 -- Hobbs, NM. The Thunderbirds split two games on Friday - 15-9, 12-13
(10 innings), and Saturday - 3-10, 11-10, against Clarendon College.
“Clarendon College is an excellent baseball team,” said Head Coach Ray Birmingham. “We also had to play without our top pitcher and right fielder, because the transfer rule is still in effect.”
However, when the Thunderbirds played a single game against Dodge City Community College on Sunday, they won 11-4.
“Our next game is against Frank Phillips
College, and it’s going to be a
challenge
winning on the road against them,” said Birmingham.
