Institutional Work-Study funds are available for students who wish to work to defray the cost of education at NMJC. These awards are not based on need; however, if a student is receiving need-based aid, the award must be considered as a resource.

The NMJC Honors Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have attained a top ranking in their graduating class and will be enrolled full-time at NMJC. The scholarship covers tuition and required fees and each student must maintain required GPA indicated in their award letter for continued eligibility. This is also a state funded program.
Foundation Scholarships (PDF Format)
NMJC Foundation Programs provide scholarship and work-study opportunities for students through funds that have been endowed by private donors. The majority of these scholarships carry very specific awarding criteria. The Edith Search work-study program is awarded to students who are graduates of an NMJC district high school.
