Federal Financial Aid Programs

Federal Grants

Grants are forms of aid that do not have to be paid back.

PELL

The Federal Pell Grant is a need-based grant available to undergraduate students who have not received a bachelors or professional degree. This grant is the foundation of a student's financial aid package. Award amounts are determined by the Department of Education and are based on the student's cost of attendance and your enrollment status. The maximum Pell grant one can receive is $4,000.00 per award year.

FSEOG

The Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a supplemental grant awarded to students with exceptional need. Funds are awarded in order of lowest EFC to students who are also Federal Pell Grant recipients. These funds are limited; however, all students who have a completed file are considered for the award.
