Law Enforcement Academy Physical Fitness Standards

On the first day of the Academy each student will be required to participate in five physical fitness standards as listed. Students must minimally score in the 40th percentile (Cooper Institute Standards) to be admitted to the Basic Training Program. If a student is unable to obtain a passing score they may be dismissed from the Academy.

Events

Additionally, during the course of the Academy, students will participate in daily physical fitness training. In order to graduate from the program, students will be required to complete exit fitness standards on the 1.5 mile run and 300 meter run at the 60th percentile (Cooper Institute Standards) and two job oriented agility courses.

Below are links to the charts indicating the fitness standards for both entrance and exit for this program as well as to the descriptions of the job oriented agility courses.
