Law Enforcement Academy Application Process

The following steps must be followed in order to register and apply for admission to the Southeastern New Mexico Law Enforcement Training Academy (SNMLETA):

• Download, print, and complete the Law Enforcement Training Academy Application Package:
  • Part I – General Applicant Information (PDF Format)
  • Part II – Required NMLEA Forms (PDF Format)
  • Part III – Required NMJC Forms (PDF Format)
• Parts II and III must be completed, signed and notarized, and sent via regular mail to us (address below).
• Prospective students should complete the New Mexico Junior College Online Admission Application, but notarized Law Enforcement Training Academy Applications (Parts II and III) must be submitted via regular mail.
• Return the completed applicant package with the required notarized forms to:
