Program
New Mexico Junior College offers several options in accounting. They are as follows:
- A one-year certificate in accounting which gives students a basic accounting
foundation.
A two-year Associate in Applied Science Degree with a major in accounting. This degree gives the student a strong exposure to accounting and computers. - NMJC has an articulation agreement in place allowing students pursuing a four-year baccalaureate degree to transfer their associate degree college credits to local colleges toward a four-year degree.
- An accounting cooperative work experience program that offers students a chance to experience the real world situation by working with local accounting firms for credit.
